Bob Boeckman was born in Yankton, South Dakota and grew up in St. Helena, Nebraska. Bob is currently the General Manger in Nebraska and has been working for Mahaska so long that he cannot recall what his position prior to being General Manager was. In his 39 years at Mahaska, Bob still manages to maintain a good sense of humor. Learn more about him below!
What is a typical day at Mahaska like for you?
Start at 5:15am and it’s all a blur from there until about 6:30pm, always something going on.
Favorite beverage that Mahaska distributes?
Mountain Dew on ice.
Favorite snack that Mahaska distributes?
Chips.
What do you do outside of Mahaska for fun?
Work on restoring muscle cars and hunting.
What’s something no one would guess about you?
That I work hard LOL.
How would you think your friends describe you in one sentence?
Kind of stubborn and has no patience for lazy people.
What are you most passionate about?
Neatness.
What have you seen Mahaska do that benefits the local community?
The Dew It For Your School programs is one of the most successful, but we sponsor a lot of other community projects as well, like the soccer complex and Aquaventure park.
