Kyle Ableman Sr., Mahaska Warehouse Manager, started out his career in the U.S. military as a marine. His last 17 years have been spent with Mahaska, where he brings a great attitude and fun-loving nature to help manage and run an effective team in the Kansas warehouse. What is a typical day at Mahaska look like for you?
Chasing soft drinks and keeping the warehouse rolling!

RealTree Emerald Ice.
Favorite snack that Mahaska distributes?
Snickers.
What do you do outside of Mahaska for fun?
I make furniture and other crafts with re-purposed wooden pallets.
What’s something no one would guess about you?
I am the “Cool Papa” to my grandkids.
How would you think your friends describe you in one sentence?
Warm and fuzzy with a side of sarcasm.
What are you most passionate about?
My kids, grandkids, and family.
Are you involved in the local community? If so, how?
I have been on some community boards and I’m a member of the American Legion.
What have you seen Mahaska do that benefits the local community?
We donate a lot of product and money to several communities, as well as man-power for events.
